When you’re able to have a healthy & positive perspective on life, it gives you the ability to solve problems, maintain emotional control, and build your business, too!
Perspective Defined

There are two dictionary definitions that are helpful in describing perspective:
  1. The facts known to one in ha ving a meaningful relationship
  2. The faculty of seeing all the relevant data in a meaningful relationship

Another perspective

The recurring word is meaningful, and changing perspectives allows you to change the meaning of things. When it comes to meani ng, there’s hardly anything with inherent meaning.

We give everything a meaning based on our own unique filters – how we view the world. When we’re able to change the meanings of our experiences, then life takes on a whole different perspective. It allows for more control and greater empowerment.
If we don’t apply the power of perspective, we can lose control. We lose the ability to choose.
Perspective is not an ability issue – everyone over the age of 10 has the ability to view things from another’s perspective – but the question is how often do we exercise that ability? Having the ability to change your perspective gives you the freedom to control your life.
7 Core Areas for Positive Perspectives
1.      Emotional Control – It’s more than just changing your emotions, it’s your ability to control how you feel in any given moment. Your emotions influence and determine your thoughts & actions, so it’s a HUGE help to be able to control your emotions.
2.      Fears – Fear only lives in the future – not in the past or present moment. We get afraid of what MIGHT happen in the future. So learn how to reframe your fears.
3.      Problem Solving – When you get plugged into your problems and don’t look from other perspectives, you’re focusing on the problem, so you can’t see the solutions!
4.      Relationships – The willingness to see things from another’s perspective will improve your relationships infinitely! Everyone has their own view of the world, and those models of the world determine each person’s viewpoints, emotions, thoughts, programming, actions, and much more.
5.      Selling & Recruiting – What most people do is sell &/or recruit from their perspective – why they think others should buy or join a business, rather than selling or recruiting from the buyer’s perspective & what benefits they would want or find enticing.
6.      Leadership – When you try to motivate from your own perspective, you can only influence people that share your same perspective – which is about 1-5% of other people. Influencing the remaining 95-99% requires taking different perspectives.
7.      Goal Setting – If you look into the future and imagine your goal already achieved, then you can look back to see what obstacles you overcame, what fears you let go of, what resources you utilized, and who helped you along the way. This will help you to achieve the goals you set.
Perspective Achieved

It’s important to apply the power of perspective, in order to remain in control and achieve what you want in life.  Whenever things start to feel out of control, remember to exercise your ability and look at things from another perspective.  Having the ability to change your perspective gives you the freedom to control your life, and when you can do that, you can do anything!
