My friend Suzannah Crowder grew up with many labels. “Child of abuse,” “daughter of an alcoholic,” “worthless” and “big boned” are just a few. Then there was the one positive label given to her, “writer.” This one label helped her to share her life changing story with others. She turned her life around and is making a difference in the world.

It’s important to know that no matter what labels we wear, we can change them. It does take time and persistence, and having a coach who knows how to “Erase the Waste” helps, too. Suzannah talks about how to use this guided coaching CD to not only get rid of the negative, but to instill positive in it’s place.
As Suzannah put it, “You can make the decision to change your life in a day. But then you spend the rest of your life changing your life.”
It’s important to consistently put more positive in your mind than negative – whichever one you feed will grow!
Suzannah recommends an hour of power each day, and to start your day that way so you begin on a positive and powerful note. This hour of power consists of three 20 minute practices – reading, meditation or prayer and exercise.
It’s also important to make sure you create some positive labels for yourself that are in alignment with your goals. This will help you to achieve your dreams. If you have a goal of attaining an ideal weight or size but you label yourself “big boned,” this label is going to work against you. But if you instill a label like “healthy and strong” then you’ll have a label working in your favor. Stop wearing labels that don’t fit you. Try on new ones and see how they feel. Keep going ‘til you find what fits.
