Woody is a high school dropout who became a millionaire by age 26. He was broke by age 27, but then built a multi-million dollar business within years.
Since then, he’s gone on to author nine books, make films and speak professionally to thousands of people, inspiring individuals to achieve their own success.
How Did Woody Get Back On Top?
Woody offered some great insight on what helps people succeed. He quoted famous speaker Les Brown, saying “If information was enough, then everybody would be rich, skinny & happy.”
The reality is that we all have access to the information that can help us to succeed. The difference is using your experiences – you can know something based on information, but until you experience it, you haven’t really learned it.If you weren’t on the call or haven’t listened to the replay or the CD, listen now. You’ll discover your emotional fingerprint, learn about your emotional elevators, and hear Woody’s phenomenal offer! Keep reading to find out more…
What is Your Emotional Fingerprint?
Your Emotional Fingerprint is what makes you feel important. It’s what makes you tick, and your successes and failures are determined by how you seek to validate your Emotional Fingerprint.
Your Emotional Fingerprint is created by drama – positive things that happen in your life, or trauma – negative things that happen. Not just anything positive or negative, but those things that are significant and cause a shift.
There are seven groups that make up your Emotional Fingerprint. You can determine yours with the handout Woody provided, which can be found online at our website – www.CoachSeanSmith.com/fingerprint.
What Are Emotional Elevators?
Once you know what makes you feel important and your Emotional Fingerprint, you can better control your emotions. You can learn how to elevate your emotions on days when you might be feeling down.
If you’ve ever had a bad day, it’s probably something you don’t want to repeat. Based on information Woody has studied & compiled, he’s determined that bad days happen when two or more of the things that make you feel important are being offended.
Likewise, when you’re having a good day, feeling on top of the world, two or more of the things that make you feel important are being met. And there are activities you can do each day to make sure every day is a good day – by doing or validating the things that make you feel important.
How Do You Validate?
Most of us look to others to validate our Emotional Fingerprint – we want external validation like praise, appreciation, recognition and thanks.
This always requires others to meet your emotional needs & make you feel good.
However, if you can validate your Emotional Fingerprint from within, then you only rely on yourself to feel good & feel important. It’s the only way to be in control.
